sailing away

In these photos we sailed across the Egeo sea on board a turkish ship named Nicola. We took off from Bodrum harbour and along the journey visited towns like Selimiye, the ruins of Cnido and Symi, a greek island which I love, I think is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been to. That day we stop the boat between two cliffs and enjoy the turquoise waters, the emptiness and the silence broken by the sound of the waves. Idilic, getting up to this background is amazing, I don’t recall how many pictures did I take, no filters needed! I also loved the town with its colourful houses on the hill, such a special and picturesque place! I’ll continue tomorrow with the second one of my trips. Thanks for being there ,-)

Navegamos por el mar Egeo a bordo de una goleta turca llamada Nicola. Esa noche partimos del puerto de Bodrum, durante la travesía conocimos pueblos como Selimiye, las ruinas de Cnido y Symi una isla griega que me enamoró, creo que es uno de los lugares más bonito en los que he estado. Ese día atracamos el barco entre dos acantilados y disfrutamos de sus aguas turquesas, también de la soledad ya que no había nadie, el silencio era interrumpido de vez en cuando por el balido de las cabras, el mar estaba en calma y era un espectáculo mirar hacía la inmensidad del horizonte. Bastante idílico sí, despertarse en este escenario es increíble, no se cuantas fotos hice, y da igual las mires por donde las mires, que no hace falta ponerle ni un filtro, ni un contraste, la naturaleza es brutal. También me encantó el pueblo, las casas de vivos colores dispuestas a lo largo de una colina parecían un decorado, desde luego un lugar muy pintoresco y especial. Os espero mañana con otro post de mis últimos viajes. Gracias por estar ahí ,-)
