Pull & Bear’s new project it’s called #Bemorebarrio a campaign that aims to revitalize the day to day life in the neighbourhood. When I first heard about it I was 100% on board as I really enjoy living in one of the most authentic neighbourhoods in Madrid: Chamberí Here we live people from all different backgrounds enjoying life in the heart of Madrid. I enjoy going to buy bread to the local shop, knowing where I can go if I want to fix a pair of shoes or having breakfast in a small coffee place where they all know me. I love walking its streets and buying fruits and flowers at Ginkgobiloba.
Also, my neighbourhood is top when it comes to food I love having the ‘aperitif’ in Calle Pozano, Sala Despiece or La Contrasena. Sit in the sun in the terraces at Alvarez de Castro and Plaza Olavide, although we also have «cool» restaurants like Perrachica or Piscolabis. Theatres and cinemas and even Sorolla museum, I would never want to live anywhere else!

El nuevo proyecto de Pull& Bear se llama #Bemorebarrio, una campaña que anima a revalorizar la vida de barrio cotidiana. Cuando me lo contaron acepté encantada, porque no hay nada que más me guste que vivir en uno de los barrios más castizos de Madrid, Chamberí. Aquí convivimos personas de todo tipo y condición disfrutando de todo lo bueno de un barrio de toda la vida en pleno corazón de la ciudad. Soy feliz bajando a comprar el pan a la panadería de siempre, saber que el zapatero esta en la esquina, que puedo desayunar en la típica cafetería donde me conocen. Me encanta pasear por sus calles, comprar la fruta y las flores en Ginkgobiloba.
Además mi barrio es top en gastronomía, la variedad culinaria es infinita, me encanta tomar el aperitivo en la Calle Ponzano, en la Sala de Despiece o La Contraseña. Sentarme al sol en las terrazas de Alvarez de Castro y de La Plaza Olavide, además también tenemos restaurantes cool como Perrachica o Piscolabis. Cines, teatros y hasta El Museo de Sorolla esta en mi barrio. ¡Yo quiero vivir siempre aquí!

Morning folks! I start my week with a coat, was about time! That day I chose a classic navy one it’s one of my wardrobe basics. I combined it with a beig jumper, sheer blue blouse and animal print bag. The other day I went for a touch up of colour, I’m super lucky of having at the same time a big friend and the greatest hairdresser ,-)

This weekend has been really sad. It’s outrageous that we continue having terrorist attacks. My heart goes to the families of the victims, I’m really sorry for your loss.

¡Buenos días amig@s! Empiezo la semana con chaquetón que ya toca. Este día elegí uno azul marino cruzado, es un clásico que siempre me gusta tener en mi armario. Lo combiné con un jersey corto en beige, camisa de popelín azul y jeans pitillo con rotos. Los zapatos grantes de tiras y el bolso de leopardo. El otro día aproveché para retocarme el color del pelo, tengo mucha suerte de tener a un gran amigo y mejor peluquero, gracias por hacerme tan bien mis mechas ,-) Por si alguna os interesa David Mateo tiene la peluquería en Madrid, Paseo de la Florida 915485741.

Este fin de semana ha sido muy triste, es lamentable que continúen sucediendo ataques terroristas. Animo para todas esas familias afectadas en esta tragedia. Mi más sentido pésame.

In these photos I’m wearing a knitted jumper with V-nake and bow, I really like this new trend of things with the bowtie style. I combined it with a black suede mini. I also wore a knitted coat with white and red embroidered details from Zara. It’s weird to go without tights but with the mild temperatures that November keeps bringing each to their own. And although talking about the weather is the type of conversation you would have with your neighbour in the lift I can’t avoid it, thanks to this changeable temperatures I have a super duper cold :/ It’s Monday today for everyone in Madrid who had the bank holiday yesterday, so big up and lots of love! En las fotos llevo un jersey negro de cuello pico con lazada, la verdad me gusta esta tendencia de llevar algo anudadito al cuello, lo combiné con minifalda de serraje también en negro con corte evasé. Además ese día estrené un abrigo de punto grueso estilo cardigan con bordados en rojo y blanco de Zara. Y se hace raro ir sin medias, pero las temperaturas son muy suaves a estas alturas de noviembre. Y aunque hablar del tiempo es más propio de hacerlo con un vecino en el ascensor, yo hoy no puedo por menos. Gracias a estos cambios me encuentro con un gripazo que no me deja vivir :/ En Madrid arrancamos hoy la semana, animo y muchos besos a todos! Con cariño, Silvia ,-)

Yesterday I attended the press launch of the Balmain for H&M collect. I must confess that once again I let myself get a bit carried away and was standing in the queue in one of the pol positions to be able to get hold of my favourites :O To be honest it was super exciting. I’m really happy as I managed to get what I wanted so I arrived home with loads of bags and a mega hype :) I think #HMBalmaination is the best collaboration until now and it will be available from tomorrow 5th of November in some chosen shops plus on the website H&M from 10:00 am. So today’s look is from Balmain, mini skirt in red and blue metallic jumper with gold buttons, what do you think? Are you one of the lucky ones that will be able to go to the stores? Ayer estuve en la preventa a prensa de la colección de Balmain para H&M. Confieso que una vez más me deje contagiar por la euforia del momento y estuve de las primeras en la cola para poder conseguir todos mis flechazos. La verdad que fue muy emocionante este rato y la euforia era altamente contagiosa. El resultado es que estoy súper contenta porque esta vez conseguí todo lo que quería, por lo que anoche llegué a casa cargada de bolsas y con un buen subidón :) Pienso que #HMBalmaination es la colección más top que ha presentado la firma, así que por si alguien aún no lo sabe mañana jueves 5 de noviembre estará disponible en las tiendas seleccionadas y en la web H&M a partir de las 10:00 a.m. El look de hoy es Balmain, llevo la falda roja de raso abullonada y el jersey azul metalizado con hombreras y botones dorados ¿Qué os parece? ¿ Sois de las afortundas que podréis pasaros por H&M mañana? If I had to fill in those about-me forms in social networking profiles, I would highlight that I’m a woman of character, funny, loving, hard worker, feminine, passionate, snotty… I would also show my Facebook status like «happy and lucky» First one to be surrounded by people I love and second one to be healthy and be able to do what I want. #EsLoQueSoy #SoySilvia #SoyLibre (it’s what I am, I’m Silvia, I’m free)

The reason why I’m telling you all of this it’s because of the new Viceroy campaign, which you can watch here. I personally love it and I think being real and down to earth is what makes us special.

There’s a watch for each person and for each occasion like this one I’m wearing in the photos today that matches perfectly my look and style. The centre in blue is quite big in size, in the style of a man’s one, and the pink gold gives it a feminine touch ,-) Thanks for all your loving comments and for being there, have a nice day! El motivo por el cual os cuento todo esto, a parte de que así podáis conocerme un poquito más, es por la nueva campaña de Viceroy que os invito a ver Aquí. Os diré que a mi personalmente me ha gustado mucho y pienso que la cercanía y lo auténtico es lo que nos hace ser especiales.

Hay relojes para cada persona y para cada momento, como este modelo que os enseño en las fotos muy acorde a mi look y a mi estilo. Last Wednesday Lipault PARIS launched its first boutique in Madrid at Hermosilla Street number 12 and I had the honour to be its «godmother» :) It was also the 10th anniversary of the French brand sows celebrated in technicolour! In Lipault PARIS I discovered all sorts of handbags from weekend bags to normal ones. I think the brand new line it’s great fun as travelling with style is a must . Which one is your favourite? It’s tricky isn’t it I chose for the photos a nylon bag in green, blue and black that gave a touch go colour to my grey and black outfit. Hope you guys like it ,-) Silvia Xxxx

El pasado miércoles Lipault PARIS inauguro en la Calle Hermosilla 12 su primera Boutique en Madrid y yo tuve el honor de ser la madrina de este evento :) Además su estreno coincidió con el décimo aniversario de la firma parisina, así que lo celebramos a todo color! En Lipault PARIS descubrí desde bolsos de mano a maletas, pasando por bolsos para fines de semana, maletines y todo tipo de accesorios para el viaje. Me parece muy divertida la propuesta de la firma y es que las maletas hoy en día se han convertido en un complemento de moda. ¿Con qué color te quedarías? ¿Difícil verdad? Yo escogí para mis fotos de street style un llamativo bolso de nylon en negro, azulón y verde que levantaba mi outfit en tonos grises y negros. Espero qué os guste ,-) ¡Muchos besos! Silvia

This laser cut top that I showed you the other day on instagram I love the see through back, and I wore ir with nothing underneath so it looked better ,-) Sometimes you ask me how do I deal with this type of t-shirts and the answer is liners which I get at Oysho. I combined it with cropped styled trousers from Zara and the vest from Urban Outfitters from last year. The shoes are from Senso and the grey hat is from Raceu. Today was back to cold in Madrid so I’m afraid is one of these kind of outfits that I will be wearing. its of kisses and have a great day! Silvia

Este top brocado es el que os enseñé el otro día en instagram me encanta la espalda transparente, además me he permitido llevarlo sin nada para que se vea aún más bonito ,-) Muchas veces me preguntáis como hago para este tipo de escotes y os dire que lo solución para mi son con unas pezoneras ( que palabra más agrrrr) que compro en Oysho. Lo combiné con unos pantalones cropped en negro también de Zara y el chaleco tipo perfecto de urban Urban Outfitters del año pasado. Los zapatos de pulsera son de Senso y el sombrero gris de Raceu. Hoy ya ha hecho frío en Madrid así que me temo que pocos outfits más así nos vamos a poder permitir. Muchos besos y feliz día! Silvia

This midi playsuit was love at first sight, even though it seems strange that I found it appealing when orange tones normally put me off. It seems like my obsession with playsuits made me forget about that ;)
I combined it with a knitted grey jumper with straight neck and lace up shoes. Do you like the result? Maybe it’s not the most functional or practical trend of the season but to me it seems so stylish and different. Lots of kisses and have a great day! Silvia

Este peto de largura midi fue amor a primera vista, aunque me resulta extraño que me entrara así por los ojos cuando a los tonos anaranjados les suelo tener bastante manía…. Parece que mi obsesión por los petos que me llevó a obviarlo ;) Lo combiné con un jersey de punto fino en gris con cuello a la caja y las bailarinas con cordones. ?Os gusta el resultado? Quizás no es la prenda más funcional ni práctica de la temporada pero a mi me parece estiloso y diferente. Muchos besos y feliz día!
